Bifocal sunglasses |

Choosing a sunglass is like
pointing at the moon on a new moon. One cannot be very sure that it
will be as per his requirement, despite numerous trials. One has to be
really an expert in choosing sunglasses so as to pick the best one.
Bifocal sunglasses are one of the many types of sunglasses. Bifocal
sunglasses are a type of prescription sunglasses. These glasses need to
be prescribed by a doctor. A person must also make sure that these
glasses fit properly with his face. Some people are not even aware of
their own vision problems which make it very essential to determine if
a person really requires bifocal sunglasses.
Bifocal sunglasses are prescription sunglasses, that is, they are
specially designed so as to meet the requirements of people who have
farsighted and nearsighted problems. Bifocal sunglasses are quite
different from normal single vision lenses. They have two corrective
lenses on either side of the pair of glasses, which makes it totally
four lenses for a pair. There are only a few types of bifocals
available and only a licensed optician can determine can decide on what
is best. Bifocals make performing any activity such as writing,
reading, using the computer or other activities requiring close range
focusing easy. This is because bifocal sunglasses have a visible
line
right across the middle of the lens. Only eye care professionals will
exactly know which lens to use for a person. After a person decides in
favor of acquiring a bifocal sunglass, he has to select his desired
frame. Frames are made by companies such as Nike, Versace, Chanel and
Prada. The amount of money that a person is willing to spend matters a
lot as good frames are always available at higher prices.
There are other aspects that need to be decided by the wearer before
buying bifocal sunglasses. The type of material that should be used in
these glasses is one such factor. The wearer must decide between a
heavier frame and a lighter frame. The heavier frame is made of a
material of high quality. The lighter framed glasses are made of
inexpensive materials such as plastic and even though they do look
attractive at first, they tend to dent or even break easily. Their
durability cannot be assured as it depends a lot on the usage by the
wearer more than anything else. Other things that one has to take into
account are nose shape; his taste and sometimes even the disorder that
a person is suffering from decide the frame.
